Lorna Syson stands out from the crowd
I recently spent some one-on-one time with Lorna at the Top Drawer trade show last month to discuss her most recent collection and her plans for her ever expanding range of designs and product lines.
Lorna has been a member of our eclectic collective since it's inception and consistently creates new and original patterns and ideas. She caters to all demographics, be it a conservative or contemporary client, her designs delight them all. Not least with her newest 'Pansy' fabric which makes me reminisce about my Nanna's emaculate three piece suite but also think how cool it would be to cover a feature wall in my living room, breathing new life into pared down aesthetic of my own home.
As a retailer I highly value a designer who can cross boarders and be many things to many people. With this in mind I fell in love with her latest one off creation. A 1950's vintage cocktail chair lovingly and expertly restored using Lorna's Pansy fabric by Galapagos ( www.galapagosdesigns.com )
The fabric is 100% cotton, digitally printed in Lancashire and available by the metre. Also available are her lampshades, cushions, plant pots and makeup bags. The entire collection including this one off chair is available to purchase at our boutique, to learn more about Lorna go to www.lornasyson.co.uk
